This high alpine circuit leads your group from Chandolin/St-Luc (a short drive or bus from the major town of Sierre) on a horseshoe route that captures famous alpine peaks and villages such as Bella Tola (c3000m altitude), Zinal, Grimentz and Vercorin. Each day’s walk is around 5 hours, depending on weather and fitness. The itinerary will always be adjusted depending YOUR goals and experience.
Accommodation along mountain trails is nearly always in alpine huts, typically called, 'auberges', 'refuges', or 'cabanes'. They provide dormatory (shared) rooms and outstandingly good food and refreshments, even for those of us with specialist dietary requirements. Sometimes huts also provide private rooms - enquire if this is of interest to you, subject to availability and surcharge.
- The core package includes 5 nights with full-board in dormitories, but please note that it depends on hut availability, party numbers and what you, as the customer, ultimately wants. Mountain Coach will bespoke arrangements to your needs.
- Full board means breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner
- On request, the tour can be customised (to between 3 and 10 nights)
